“Percy” is inspired by one of the strangest looking members of the avian family, the bizarre pelican.
Pelicans are strange, unusual, grunting, clacking, cumberson critters whose physics are hard to understand. These humongous birds so clumsy waddling on land, are glorious to watch when they launch their massive bodies into the air, to fly, glide , swoop & dive so gracefully. What is also amazing about these wonderous dinosaur type critters, is their massive pouches and mouths which they to fish, drink, preen, & quarrel”.
